It wasn't for me. She said that she's love to show me others.
I agreed. I found a property that I'm interested in. My problem is that the agent is working more for the seller than me. She talks to the seller all the time (we have a mutual friend) and is telling her to hold out' that I'll come around. She has become absolutely rude to me and is pushing me...I've told her that if the price isn't right, I'll find another. I'd really like to drop her, but feel it's a conflict in the middle of this deal......what is the ethical thing to do.

Mon, 6 Jul 2009 11:25:05 PDT

Best way to find a better agent and let ours go?

http://www.trulia.com/voices/Home_Buying/Best_way_to_find_a_better_agent_and_let_ours_go_-142770

Our real estate agent seems to be slow on technology, lacks response time and we have missed several perfect homes that we would have put offers in on because of this. We find more homes on our own (that weren't sold while we had been waiting on him) only to find that we are too late and they are sold or under agreement. What is the best way to let an agent go and find a good one that meets our needs? The asking price is set at 250, I have a bid at 260 and ill pay closing cost and have a 30 day closing. The selling agent has said we are second best! Im thinking the other bid is about 270 and the agent told us they want the seller to pay closing and have 60 days on their contract to close. Do you think we should increase our offer on the home to at least 270 to ensure we get the house? Do you think the bank will select us? I am looking to buy a home for the very first time with my girlfriend. I have one good thing going for me and a list of negative things going against me. The one good thing ios this: I have a good job I've been with for three years that earns me roughly $26,000 a year. Now for the bad: My credit score is 597; my girlfriend's credit is worse; she doesn't have a job and is currently in debt with school
We're looking for a nice house in Colorado Springs, nothing fancy, just nothing in a meth head neighborhood. We'd like to pay no more than $700 a month.
As i said, we're both first time home buyers and, unfortunately, we're both pretty naive to everything that goes into it. Any advice would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!

Mon, 6 Jul 2009 11:05:06 PDT

Loan with no credit?
