Just did a search for Windermere and there is nothing listed as a rental for less than $1000, I did find a 3/2 condo in Metro West that is man gated with 2 pools for a $1000 a month.

After you purchase a home in Florida a new assessment will be done by the county with your purchase price as a guide. So, if the seller has had the homestead exemption on the property for the past 10 years, it's very likely they will be paying taxes on a lower assessed value than what you'd pay. It's pretty easy to calculate an estimate of what your taxes will be if you know the millage rate of the county and an approximate assessed value based loosly on your purchase price. This is a great question. I have to say that I personally do not know of a place where you would be able to locate a French version of a Far bar as is contract. Every contract that is written is different depending on the property, owner, location, history of the property, price, and many other factors that may also mean requiring specific addendums that may be needed for that specific property including bank addendums on bank owned properties which are unique to that particular listing. Unfortunately this would render a translated example contract useless as the actual contract would also need to have all supporting documents translated. If the main concern is not being able to read the contract in English, I would first suggest that you try to locate an agent that is fluent in French to properly explain every aspect of the contract to you. While I wish my French was good enough to translate the contract for you,…it is unfortunately not the case! So if you are unable to find a fluent French speaking agent in Central Florida, then I would consider choosing an agent that is willing to work together with an interpreter to assist you in going over every aspect of the contract for sale. If you have a close friend or family member that you trust that is also able to speak/read French and English well, consider getting them involved in advising you with the contract that you and your agent will draft. It is critical that you understand all the terms of the contract before signing anything as you then become legally responsible for the enforcement of the contract. Hiring an official translator or interpreter is another option if you do not have a friend or family member to assist you. An official translator/ interpreter may be your best option so that you and your agent of choice have a clear understanding of each other and the contract you put together.
For your own protection you should also consider hiring a real estate attorney that is familiar with real estate practices here in Central Florida that would be able to make sure you are fully protected and that you have not been taken advantage of in an way. Understanding the specific contract ramifications and stipulations that you are agreeing to in any contract you draft with your agent of choice is a must! A real estate attorney can look out for your best interests and advise you and your agent of the best legal way to proceed on your contract while still safeguarding your specific rights and responsibilities in any real estate transaction. If you are looking for a long term rental, Windermere is a great choice and very popular for the A rated schools, lovely lakefront subdivisions, and highly desirable area of town with nearby shopping and dining. For the long haul (about 10 years as you stated above), I think your property values are a little safer in Windermere as Kissimmee is experiencing a high turnover with regard to investors pulling out of short term renting. If you take a look down old 192 it isn’t hard to notice all the boarded up hotels which are drawing less and less tourists and are linked to an increased crime surge. While short term renting can be a great choice for income, there is a lot of overturn and maintenance involved as well as property management as you stated above.
Long term renting is a little easier to manage for an investor and second home purchaser and overall, the high demand for the area may help your property values in the long term as compared to Kissimmee.
That said, if long term is your desire Windermere is a great option.
