Oh my I wish we would all have a working crystal ball to foresee what the future brings. In general if a buyer wants to see any appreciation in their home value, I suggest, and I am not too familiar with your area of interest, as the situation in some areas is much better than in others, for good current market information a local Realtor would be extremely helpful, if you need a recommendation let me know, to stay in the home a good 5 years.....
There is loss in just buying and selling and moving expenses, and nobody can really predict when in certain areas the values will go up, and more so is this the size and type of home that will be in demand at the time you intend to sell, quality of home, amenities, size, location, lot size and for how much you can purchase it at this time, all will influence your chance of selling at a better price when you are ready to sell.
Make sure you buy well at this time, not cheap, but well, in other words buy a property with good amenities, the right size for the area, in a good location, great curb appeal and close to what is

I'd love to help you out but I'd need more information. It sounds like you are talking about Summerland Key and each subdivision is comprised of lot and block numbers. The best way for me to locate a specific property for you would be through the "alternate key" number (which you probably won't have since it's been around 40 years ago).
