Frank, that's a question you'll have to ask the Auditor. This is a question that a lot of folks have. The Auditor has a very complicated process for valuating property. Just know that the Auditor's value doesn't always equal market value.... more
In 2012 the average days on market for homes in Groveport was approximately 85. December had the longest days on market, 122 and in July the average days on market was only 50. I sold a home the Grove Pointe subdivision last year and it was only on the market for 23 days.... more
The one major condo development in Newton Falls appears to be popular with the mostly 50+ age group. I have listed and sold a couple of condos there. The economy has seen a slowdown in sales and a drop in values, however, Newton Falls remains a mostly stable market.... more

Not sure why you would want to limit yourself by only looking at FSBO or online auctions (REO). Have you considering working with a local Realtor as your buyers agent. They can help you view all the inventory available, including FSBO and help you find what you are looking for.
Although I can't answer specifically about the North Linden area, Columbus as a whole barely got ANY snow this past winter! But that is extremely rare. We usually get our big snows in Feb and March it seems. Here is a good site to research weather trends and averages: http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/43210... more
Perhaps. Although number of closes year-to-date is about on par with this time last year (80 vs 87 per DABR) average sales price has definitely increased (from $86927 to $98576 ytd per DABR). Personallly, I've been involved in more competing offers in the last 5 months than in the last few years combined. Too soon to say whether this trend will continue, but certainly encouraging.... more
About the only way to really handle it without having agents coming in to be operator is to man the phones with staff, have a peron on perday or shifts to take the calls where ever they are....not always a good way but can work.
I'm not sure if you will be able to view this graph, but all indications are that sales and prices are starting to move upward in Brecksville. If you are thinking of selling or buying, now may be the time to do so.
If you can't open this or see the chart, call or email me anytime.

Sharon my crystal ball is broken as to future value. That said resale depends on the value of the property. There are 100,000 homes in Wyoming and 1,000,000.00 homes in Wyoming. You would stand a better chance of sell a 100k home than a 1mm dollar home any day.... more
The supply in Columbus has dropped by 3000 homes since last year at this time. That is a great thing, because the supply was too large. We are seeing equilibrium now. Buyers have gotten off the fence and are buying. There were 47% more homes in contract in Feberuary than a year ago. To me, that all sounds like good news.... more
Have you watched the market lately? Also, Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Township have extremely high taxes due to having no industry. people have moved out for these reasons and cannot sell these homes like they used to. Great community, terrible taxes!!!... more
