This is a very complex question because the measurement for "safe" is personal. I used to live near Cheyenne Village and it always seemed safe to me. I have many friends who live there and they have always described it as safe and family oriented. But I cannot say it is "safe" - you must determine that on your own.
A great tool for you to use is on the Firsco Police website:
At the bottom of the page you can ask for crime statistics and decide for yourself if Cheyenne Village is "safe".
As for cultural diversity, Realtors are not allowed to comment on religious, racial, or cultural characteristics of a neighborhood. This is up to each home buyer. I can only say that my friends who live there love being there. One family moved from Starwood, a gated community next door, to live there. That says a lot! Let me suggest that you drive around, or better yet, walk around the neighborhood, especially when the local elementary school day is ending, and see for yourself.
There are so many wonderful ways to find information about a community. I wish you well in your research!
