Volcano Cliffs is still an upcoming desirable area. It started to take off just when the market fell so building came to a halt. It is located in our new High district, Volcano Vista, which is a plus. There are several questions that I have in order to advise. How much did you pay for the lots? Are you ever planning on developing them or moving to Albuquerque? What are the address of the properties? Are they contiguous? I can give you a better answer if you could give me some more information. I would be glad to help.

You might like an area known as Nob Hill or Ridgecrest, or I have similar likes to what you wrote and have 3 young children and I live in the foothills - MLS areas named Foothills North and Foothills South. You might also like Four Hills. Send me an email and I will send you a detailed dsecription of each MLS area that I have written so that you can refer to it when you are searching online. Happy house hunting!... more
Yes, Nob Hill, in southeast Albuquerque, or anywhere between Nob Hill and downtown along the Central. You could also go into and past downtown all the way to Old Town along Lomas and/or Central. The Albuquerque Country Club is down that way. I am happy to send more info any time or answer questions any time no obligation, just drop me an email. I grew up here and I actively buy and sell here - it is a wonderful place to live! Best of luck in your search!... more
Albuquerque is one of the top places for the creative class (Rise of the Creative Class), the housing market is holding its own, the economy is strong, thanks to economic development (www.abq.org), and yes, you can NOT beat our weather - 4 seasons but none are extreme! I would be happy to answer any questions about our fine city! Best of luck to you!... more
