My husband and I have lived in Raintree for almost 12 years now. We were drawn the neighborhood as we noticed the level of care the neighbors on our block put into their homes and yards. We loved the appearance of the constantly updated homes, lawns, fences and trees. We noticed there was a nice variety of age groups and lifestyles on our block. One of the nicest elements is the camaraderie of our neighbors. They not only have cookouts, but they are constantly on alert. They will monitor the alley's, watching to see if there are new vehicles or new people on the block. They will let each other know when soliciting is on the block. The other element of pleasure was the school district. We realized we were one block away from one of the top ranked elementary schools in the district. The teaching staff and school staff are absolutely unmatched. We have absolutely loved living on this block and in Raintree's community. We feel comfortable allowing our children to walk home from school and ride their bikes around. We feel very blessed to have found this home and this neighborhood.... more
