Hi Patrick, are you looking to buy a home in DC? It really depends on the condition and location of the house that would determine how much the sq. ft. price is. For example: a foreclosure would most likely have a lesser price per sq. ft than a standard sale home. Anna- I just checked and the Multiple Listing System for Mount Pleasant and it shows the average Days on the Market (DOM) is 18 days for currently Active or Uncer Contract homes. This is a bit longer that what is showing for sales that have closed over the last 90 days: 11 DOM. Is your home currently listed for sale or are you looking to buy?... more
Hello Diana! Condo fees can include a range of amenities and utilities depending on the condo association. The more common include water/sewage, master insurance as well as landscaping and maintenance of the exterior of the building and shared space. Some condo fees can also service your heat, electric and gas utilities as well as recreational space, pools, doorman and even an exercise room. It all depends on the property.
If you are interested, I am available to help you find a great condo to fit your needs and explain the costs more in-depth that are associated with condo fees.

If the job market is strong then likely the real estate market will be as well. Any additional questions shoot me an email firstname.lastname@example.org... more

Hi Julia, Tom was spot on with his assessment. One thing to consider is that this lot is not buildable. It does not meet the minimum size requirements in Washington DC. The lot may be feasible for a community garden or parking with a variance. Feel free to let me know if you have questions about zoning or building in DC. I have a lot of experience dealing with DCRA and Zoning.... more
