Sometimes a listing will show up on a site that the agent has not put there. It also can look as if the wrong agent is advertised the listing agent. Look closely at the fine print of these misc websites ads. You can contact the website directly to correct errors. Many sellers do not know that so many of these sites automatically pull information from the local MLS listing site information that the real estate broker has not submitted to them. You should know that if your purchase price is less than the assessed value, you would have a good case for lowering the portion of your tax bill that is based on the assessed valuation (some parts are flat rates, not a function of the assessed value)... more
