If my home is listed in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, can I still short sell it back to the bank? I cannot afford the bankruptcy payments and mortgage.
I would try asking a real estate lawyer who has more in-depth knowledge on these matters.

Hey, how come my home that I own outright is being shown on this site as going up for auction?
Were you late on a tax bill? Sometimes information is not 100% accurate, but if it was ever publically recorded that you were late on taxes, that could be why as well.

I'm looking to buy a house around $250k and want to pay my taxes yearly. Must I put 20% down to do that. I don't want to put $50000 down. Ideas?
If you qualify for an FHA loan all you have to put down is 3.5% and you can also get the Seller to pay closing costs at a maximum of 6% which is 3% more than a conventional mortgage.
