Longmeadow has always had a high focus on education. Our decision to raise our children here was based very much on quality of education. The town also has limited commercial property and development, something we enjoy and there are 2 country clubs in town with excellent golf courses. Close proximity to Springfield and ease of access to Interstate 91 also offers convenience for those who commute. Taxes are high, but we love living and working in Longmeadow! If you're looking to buy or sell in Longmeadow you can feel free to contact us and we will be glad to assist you!... more
You should flag the listing immediately as well as email email@example.com Rental scams online seem to be in abundance. ANYONE can post a rental listing, they're like a classified ad, so as a consumer you should be aware and ALWAYS verify with a local Realtor that the listing is active and legitimate.... more
To be best of my knowledge, you do not have to be licensed to pick up "normal" garbage, but then what do you do with it? You DO have to be licensed to do certain kinds of Trash Hauling and Disposal. In other words, once you clean out the house, how you handle the trash is critical? That can be VERY costly and require multiple licenses.
Unfortunately we've been seeing these more over the years. Protect yourself. If your home is for sale, contact your Realtor and make them aware of the situation. Otherwise, follow up with the appropriate channels to flag and remove the false listing on any websites that you may find it.... more
I currently live in Chicopee and I love it. Yes, there have been incidences of break ins, car theft and all that mess but its everywhere. If you ask me I'd rather live in Chicopee than in Holyoke. I used to live in Holyoke and its not what it used to be. Too much gang activity and decent people that lived there have all moved elsewhere due to the high crime and murder rate. I wouldn't live in Holyoke unless I really really need to and its only certain areas away from the actual city itself. My advice - seek housing in the areas away from the city. If you notice housing is much cheaper the closer you are to the city. Stay away from anything in the High, Maple, Oak, Beech, and other areas close to or near the city hall area.... more
Work, it's that simple. Siting behind a desk will get you nowhere. Go out and talk to people. Pick a neighborhood and go door to door introducing yourself. Go into businesses and introduce yourself. The more people you talk to the more you will stir up. Remember most potential deals will not pan out. You have to get lots of activity to get deals that close.... more
There are many sites such as realtor.com, trulia, zillow, and so forth. Also, you could look on craigslist in your desired area! However, using the help of a realtor would be the easiest, as a realtor would have the ability to search MLS and find the best home/apt for you to rent, in addition a realtor would take the stress away from you in searching for a place. I currently work at William Raveis Real Estate, and I focus on rentals. If you are interested in my help, you can contact me at 860.716.1029 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
