I would look for the local paper's articles.
Maybe even call them and see if thy have an online archive.
In Falmouth here on Cape Cod, there is a neighborhood fighting 2 installed turbines.
They are both noise and cause a strobe effect according to those near them.
I would contact a local real estate professional to help with this answer and to save time and money.
(I'm on the Cape, but I can help you choose a local pro if you want help doing so.)

Most towns in mass have seen a decrease. Towns are also seeing an increase in taxes. When the time of the year for abatement comes, it doesn't hurt to try to have yhe value of your home lowered. It could go higher too, but it is unlikely. You generally want it higher when you are selling. People look at the zestimate, and the assessed value and have that figure in their head when viewing properties.... more

What do you mean "about the marketable conditions"
are you talking about the features of your home that make it different or more saleable than another new construction, 4 bed rooms - ac - large yard - close to schools - close to public transportation
are you talking about the location of the home - quite st vs next to a gas station
are you talking about the interest rates - still historically low
are you talking about the demand or lack of demand in your market. Low supply - large demand vs high supply no demand.... more
I would be happy to do a free CMA on your property. I can work up a CMA and then I would like to have a tour of your property to finalize my numbers. Give me a call and we can talk about the details.
Sankey Real Estate, Inc.
I recommend you ask a Realtor to do this for you and pay them a small fee for it. BECAUSE, licensed real estate people like myself are kept well educated in the changing markets and are commited to continuing education, we are all self employed and everything we do costs money, we outlay so much and don't have any income until we sell or place a renter. When a Realtor such as myself prepares a CMA (comparative market analysis), it is to take to a listing appointment, we are legally allowed to charge for these services up front, but we never do because we do it as a courtesy in view of obtaining the listing. Our continuing education is valuable. If i was in your area and your intention is not to list your property with me, i would prepare the CMA for you for a small fee in a heartbeat.
Good luck.... more

I'm not sure if you are still looking but I thought I'd answer your question. There are not many homes for rent in Dartmouth and those that are for rent are usually not listed. I do however work with a few contractors that have taken to buying homes in need of repair, fixing them, then renting them out til the market turns around. I'd love some specifics of what you are looking for and they may have a match or I could keep an eye out for you. Feel free to email me with your specifics like living area, bedrooms, baths, etc.... more
Hi- Generally speaking, houses do tend to go on the market in Sept. and October- because people ideally would like to sell before Christmas/ move before Christmas if they can. Of course this is unlikely because the average Days on Market is much longer than 2-3 months.
I'm not an expert in the Mansfield area- per se.
It says you are a Buyer. My guess is that there will be an influx of new home listings come September or so- mainly because some big banks have been holding off listing many of their foreclosed homes. So in a couple months might be an even better time to buy as there will be more seller competition. Just a thought.
If I can be of any help, please let me know. Thanks, and good luck,

I can send you a area market analysis from the MLS Records for the last three months via e-mail. This will show you the active listings in price ranges as well as the UAG's, Solds and expireds. Any Realtor should be able to provide this for you. I have no interest in working in the Taunton area, just trying to help.... more
