We are local agents, 'Springers', real estate specialists in the community. Anywhere in the community limits is bikable and most streets are quiet and easy to ride. The east side, running parallel to Corry St from North to South of town is the Miami Valley Scenic Bikeway that will take you to the heart of downtown either biking or walking. Primary streets have bikepaths. Most anywhere frankly is walkable too, the extents of YS are approx 1 mi and therefore with sufficient time is an easy walk. If you want to park your car when you return from work and make your walk or bike ride more convenient given restricted time, anywhere in the heart of YS, 5-6 blocks from downtown is ideal. Most homes in this radius are older, 1950s to the mid to late 1800s (loads of character). Beware, approx 50 homes sell per year across all price ranges so you can't be too choosy unless time is on your side. Most homes sell quickly due to the limited stock. Call and we can discuss in more detail.
Yes! The best way to find homes or apartments for rent in Yellow Springs is to look in the Yellow Springs Paper. There is an online version, but it may not contain the full listing of homes. There is also a realty that rents many properties there called Dunphy. You can find them at www.dunphyrealestate.com. Happy hunting!... more
Visit www.DABR.com, (Dayton Area Board of Realtors). You will see a link to DDN new Open House website where agents should be advertising their open houses. I am sure there are some agents that do not use this, but this is the newest Dayton Daily News and DABR sponsored - the ONLY - website for advertising open houses.
