West Roxbury is a very community oriented neighborhood and there are lots of great families that help drive that spirit. We are home to some great Boston Public and parochial schools, well run Parkway sport programs including the famous Shamrock Shootout, and a great "main street" with awesome Center Street amenities and eateries.
I both live and work here in West Roxbury, and I couldn't be happier! Feel free to reach me with any questions.
I grew up in West Roxbury, and still live there. It is a very safe town, and convenient both to Boston and the surrounding areas like Dedham, Needham, Westwood etc. I used to ride my bike everywhere as a kid without thinking twice. It's also nice that it is still a part of Boston with the feeling of a small town and has a lot of different commuter options.... more
Justwonderin, I lived in the Burbs and the outskirts of Boston as well as in the City itself. I did not like the Burbs... it became a project to go into "town" even though it was 10-12 miles....lived at the outskirts 3-6 miles still not perfect. Once I moved to the the South End then everything became walking distance or a cab ride away...BTW lived there for 10+ years...hope this helps.
FYI now I live in Southern California:)

If there is currently a discrepancy in your homes listing you would need to contact your agent to change the error in MLS. Once the error is changed in MLS it will supply the new data to all of the feeds including Trulia. It is not instant and the old feed may linger! If it is an error in Public records only than you may need to contact your tax assessor to change the information.
Your home is showing cancelled in the MLS. If you have relisted it you need to contact your agent to be sure it is entered. If your home is not currently listed and you are looking for agents to represent you then you should interview local seller agents, myself among them. It is important for you to keep your property in the forefront, especially in today's market. Give me call or email me if you have further questions.... more
