I checked on our local MLS and I did not show it had been listed with a local realtor. It may be listed elsewhere. If there is a sign in the yard, I would advise calling the agent to see. If you would like to view the property and it IS listed, then I can show it to you. If it is not listed, you can call or go by the clerk of court office at the court house to see if they have listed a recent sale. It is in the court house off Albany avenue. Call me if I can be of further assistance. Thank you. George F... more

Carol Road seems to be an established neighborhood with homes that folks keep up. The lots are larger since they are in the county . Carol road I believe is a dead end street so it will not have a lot of through traffic on it. Sounds like a good area to check out. George... more
There is flood zone information available on the internet, and the current owners should know whether they needed flood insurance in their area when they bought the property.
Work with an experienced local Realtor to work on your behalf and in your interest only as YOUR buyers agent, he or she will be able to answer all those questions or find out for you from village hall and other.
Do not do this on your own.
By the way the lender will double check on flood zoning, they want to make sure before lending money that the property is sufficiently insured.
