I did a quick search with all those criteria and only 2 possibilities popped up, the rest being condos. They both run about $2K/mo with one being slightly less. They are both WVUSD, however, please note that the exact location of the house determines which school in the WVUSD your child can attend. Sometimes you might be situated near a couple and if you prefer one over the other, you have to contact the district office. As far as I can tell, pets are welcome at both. Both homes are listed through agents, not by owner, so you will need to contact the Agents. Presidential 909.861.7000. Re/Max 2000 626.964.8999. Hope this helps and all the best!!... more
Report him to Trulia and whatever you do, don't wire money to anyone, even someone you know, unless you speak to them directly and feel absolutely certain it is they you are speaking with. I have even heard of these people emailing friends of elderly people saying they are trapped in a foreign country, all their money was stolen and please wire money so they can get home. I wish there was more that could be done to stop these people but for now reporting them to the web administrator is the best you can do.... more
Abby, without knowing all the fact of your parents’ situation I can't answer that 100% accurately. What I do know is that once all the parties’ sign you are in contract and it doesn't matter if escrow has been opened or not. Your parents really need to be discussing this with their Realtor. Good Luck.
With short sales there really is no specific time line. Each bank is different and approval typically can take 2-6 months. Once the approval is obtained, escrow generally will be 30-45 days. When the bank accepts an offer then the competition will end and escrow will open.
Please let me know if you need any assistance.

I would not promote that approach, rather have your agent write up the offer and delivery it to the listing agents office. Ask the receptionist to call the agent while your agent is in the lobby. If they are unable to locate the listing agent ask for the listing agent's broker and present the offer to the managing broker.... more
It depends what you have in mind but that particular property has large yards and the costs would range from at least $50k-$100k. You could spend millions if you wanted to but right now the market is slow and you can obtain competitive bids. If you just want to build fences, put in some paths, grass and sprinklers it could easily run $100k or so including permits, plumbing, wiring, etc. You will need cash to buy materials and pay contractors. Good luck.... more
