Credit can be very counter intuitive to most people. Lots of good advice in here, talk to a good lender and they can help sort you out, usually fairly quickly. Feel free to contact me directly if youwould like to be put in touch with a good one. Good luck !... more
A good agent will always stay in touch with their client before, during and after the completion of the transaction.

I would request a buyer's advisory from the realtor you are working with and do some research. This pamphlet will have websites to go to to check the ratings of the schools and crime statistics. If you are happy with what you find out, then it is time to move forward. If not, do the same level of research on another area.
Safe and located in a good area is an arbitrary opinion and not one that I know any agent would be comfortable answering.... more
It depends on the rate of return you are looking for and price you are shopping for. Some of the older homes may look like good investments but be money pits because of the year built. All these things need to be weighed prior to offer and during the inspection period to determine if it is worth moving forward or looking for a different home or area.... more
We as agents have to be careful when answering specific questions about a neighborhood and how safe it is or how are the schools. Agents are required to give you a Buyer Advisory which has websites where you can go and get specific information on schools, crime, sex offenders, etc. I give this to my clients and have them do the research on those things and determine themselves if they are okay with what they find out because it really is arbitrary. I recently helped two clients find a home in the same neighborhood. One liked the schools and the other didn't.... more
The MLS does not have very helpful parameters for this type of search, so many agents will be disqualified from helping you at the outset. Relatively few of us have experience actually digging for information. You will need someone experienced in commercial and residential transactions ... like me:)

Hi Nick-This is a very common problem. There is one picture of the Kitchen & no virtual tour of the home. Many agents aren't spending the money to have these done. Your best avenue is to pick an agent that will get to know what you are looking for and will go out and preview the homes for you. This way you don't waste your time looking at homes that don't have the features that you are looking for. If you looking for an agent that will put in the time and search for the right home for you call me Jacqueline Stowe, Realtor Sonoran Fine Properties Successfully Selling Homes in Ahwatukee and the Southeast Valley 480-980-8286 email@example.com... more
