You should do your own research regarding schools in any area because the term "good" means different things to different people. There are several web sites that provide school statistics and ratings.There are a number of desirable communities surrounding downtown Princeton but it depends on what is on your wish list of home features and your budget. SPS is a very diverse and inclusive school and having one child there now and another one starting in the fall, I can only say that we have been very happy with the school. I have never seen/heard of any instance of bullying or racism, and any "issues" have been of the garden variety/tame. Additionally, SPS was awarded 'Blue Ribbon' by the U.S. Department of Education in 2012.... more

I'm afraid it's a moot point. This homeowner has negotiated a contract and is currently in "Attorney Review." Of course you could try to outbid but I cannot recommend a "bidding war" in this economic climate. I'd place my efforts elsewhere.... more
If you ask for someone's opinion, unless it's based ONLY on facts.......it is most likely going to be subjective ie. based on their personal experience.

As an FYI, if the answers sought are from the perspective of someone moving to the area, the child(ren)'s requirements & skills really lend themselves to the superiority of 1 school or school district over the other.........at least as a parent, that is what the emphasis should be.
This evaluation should then be tied into the overall rating ........now that's my opinion as a parent :-)
