It really depends on any paperwork you and/or the owner signed with the Realtor. You may want to look over the forms and see if there is an extended period of time stated for the sale, after the end of the lease. The owner may also want to review everything with his or her Real Estate Attorney. The Lawyer would be the most qualified professional to give the correct advice.... more

Unfortunately a decision only you can make, based on your wants, needs, lifestyle, finances, etc., as for subletting--much will depend as to you wanting to return to the area down the road, do have someone locally who can keep an eye out while renting, etc.--as for selling--do you need the finances, do you prefer to be worry free from tenants, etc. Keep in mind that if a property is priced on target for today's market and at the same time, if the marketing maximizes your exposure, the unit will sell. For additional information on available and sold properties in the area check out www.mlsli.com.... more

ANNOYING. One would finally get around to it once I reminded her of it. The other actually argued with me over it. Had to argue with the last one about the property taxes for the home. She put an inflated amount on the MLS. When I saw it, I called her. She argued with me that her numbers were right. I told her I had my bill in my hand and she still disagreed with me!
Late to open houses. Agent was nice to hold 2 open houses one weekend. Had a man come to the first day who was very interested and bringing his parents the next day. Knowing this agent's habit of lateness, I stayed at my house waiting for her to show up the second day. Guy drives up on time with his parents and my agent was no where to be seen! Finally drives up as I am getting out of the car to show this guy my hous... more
