If you had a written offer from the buyers and you were negotiating back and forth verbally to come to an agreement, once that agreement was reached --- the buyers needed to adjust their offer, initial all changes and present it to you the sellers through your agent for final signature.
In reality you do not have a fully executed sales contract with the buyer, until a sale contract is signed
and fully executed (delivered to both sides) by both sides.
Therefore if a changed and initialed sale contract with all the agreed to items adjusted has not yet
been presented to you so that you could sign the final version. YOU DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT.
The buyers may be thinking, not be sure, looking at other properties etc. But your Agent should be
able to figure out if the buyers have agreed to your concessions and will proceed.... They do not have to and they may still be looking at other properties or consider other properties....
Therefore it is in the contract that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
Keep on showing and marketing your home, and let the other side know that this is what you are
