Check with your listing agent and see if he/she is uploading his/her listings to Trulia. Trulia doesn't pull listings directly from the MLS so it's entirely up to your agent to get the information here.... more
As long as the home is under contract with an agent, the homeowner is obligated to pay the agent their commission - unless the seller has signed a listing agreement which states that if the homeowner finds the buy (or you find them) then they owe the agent nothing. But that kind of arrangement is rare.
Properties that are available as 'contract for deed' will often show up that way on MLS. And there are very few Contract For Deed listings on MLS at any given time.... more

Or, you may be able to find the answers you need by contacting local law enforcement agencies to discuss your concerns.
But, I can't state enough, as I've said before on this forum, we, as licensed agents in the State of MN are not allowed to address direct questions about crime statistics in any given area. By doing so, it could be construed that we are either steering people toward or away from an area based on what we think is most acceptable, rather than what buyers think is most acceptable. The Dept. of Commerce watches us very carefully to make sure we're NOT dispensing that kind of info.
