You're going to have to create a new search. I will tell you that many of the ads for rental properties are likely scams. If anyone you contact tells you their out of the state/couinty and you need to mail them a postal money order and they'll mail you the keys immediately stop all communications with them. They are scammers. You should always be able to visually inspect any property you're considering renting and if your told that for one reason or another that you can't, then trust me someone is trying to scam you.
You may be better off working with a local property manager or real estate agent who handles rentals.... more
Any licensed real estate agent in Texas can help you. But, it helps if you have one who is experienced with USDA loans. Look for a certification like TAHS, Texas Affordable Housing Specialist. And, view the website below. USDA is a great loan program, but has both geographic boundaries and buyer perameters. You must meet both to qualify.
