I think you will find downtown more condusive to single people. It has Grove St and Newark Ave. Where there are many bars. resturants and shops.
I always suggest to my clients to go spend sometime in the area they are considering. Go during the day, the evening and weekends. This usually gives you an idea, if this is what you are looking for.

Unfortunatly I have to respond with there are no inexpensive Christmas rentals on the Boardwalk. Christmas week is a huge Asian Week and a get away week for those who do nat have families and single work force vacationers. The only time share are the Flagship, Atlantic Palace and Wyndham Resorts. What price range do you consider reasonable. I may be able to get a rental in a beachfront condo?... more
I think the show will not do any harm to real estate transactions in Seaside Heights. People will forget the show but remember Seaside Heights . So if anything it will help Seaside Heights stay in the current in the public mind. People will forget why they know Seaside Heights just that they know the name.... more
Not sure about entertainment, but you can try Scotty's on Morris Ave in Springfield...
In Millburn.... Martini's on Main St has a lively scene (well, lively for the subrubs) ....
My recommendation is Restaurant MC ......... 57 Main St, Millburn 973 921-0888
Martini's and MC are just a block form each other, so you can check them both out.
Have fun!... more
How are you?
I was going to "talk" with you about towns in Morris Co, but you are planning to move further south.
In Morris: Denville would be a great choice, Morristown is may seams little busy, but very nice and beautiful town. Mendham Boro, Lake Hiawatha (part of Parsippany Twp). In Somerset Co.: Basking Ridge (part of Bernards Twp), Bedminster, Somerville.
Good Luck. I am sure you will be able to find it.

There are lots of choices with restaurants. I'd recommend Nicholas which is in Middletown on the Red Bank border. Recently rated one of the top 10 restaurants in the nation, rated #1 in NJ in Zagat. Located on Rt 35 South. Pricey, but wonderful, great wine selection. Red Bank has a number of galleries, I don't have a particular favorite.
If you like, give me a call and I can provide additional ideas... it's a great place to visit.

I am not following your question, and am asking for clarification. You want to know about homes sold for more than 5M? Did you mean 500K? How does the gogo bar fit into the sold homes? Are these interests related?
