Lenore, the schools in the Acalanes school district, and Moraga in particular, are some of the best in the state. Campolindo High School had the 7th highest API score in the 9 county Bay Area for 2006, and was the highest ranked high school in Contra Costa County. Joaquin Moraga Intermediate, in the Moraga Elementary District is the 15th ranked middle school in the Bay Area, and the second highest in Contra Costa County (behind Windemere Ranch Middle in San Ramon). Los Perales Elementary in the Moraga Elementary School District is ranked 22.

All three cities have excellent schools from kindergarten through high school. Excellent star scores and Gold & Silver marks from US News & World Reports. The schools in the different cities can differ slightly in demographics however, that's a personal preference.
Regarding schools you really can't lose if you move to any of these cities. You may want to take other criteria into consideration to narrow your home search.
