If you are referring to Trulia's "Estimate" - that is something that only they can control and their estimates (like Zillow's) are known to often be very inaccurate. Dear Amy g,
It is possible owners with homes that aren't selling might be open to renting.
Contact a local Realtor to have a search done in the area MLS and that Realtor can assist you with contacting the Listing Agents to determine viable rentals.
Local Realtors on Trulia:

I can direct you to the the village website and it can give you more information on the town. I always recommend to my clients who are interested in a new area, to drive around and see the traffic patterns, parks, shopping and homes. See if this is a area they might see themselves living in. Check out the village website: http://www.villageoflagrange.com/ it provides lots of interesting information.
Hope this helps you.
