homepath financing has same pricing as " regular financing " with loan to values of 80% or less
I dont think that the program is any more liberal / flexible with regards to income / employement requirements or guidelines
main benefit to homepath is no appraisal is needed
my guess as to why your loan officer is steering you away from the program is that it might be somrhting he cant offer ( as not all lenders offer it )
I assume the property is eligible for HOMEPATH ?
