If your credit score is now where it would need to be for approval, it will depend on if it was a Chapter 7 or 13 on if you have to wait 1 year or 2 years. Contact me and we can talk in more detail about what you're looking for in your next home and I can recommend and put you in touch with some local lenders who can help with your financing, bankruptcy and approval questions. firstname.lastname@example.org my website is http://tommccollister.kwrealty.com/... more
It seems that your scores in your range should work. Lenders like myself can go as low as 580 when it comes to credit scores. Of course, your other finances will need to be in place as well including your income, debt, assets, employment, expenses, etc. The best thing for you to do is to speak with a knowledgeable lender like myself to see if you can get started on financing a new home. If you need additional assistance, feel free to reach out. Good luck!
