They probably want to know what your CURRENT income is. In other words, they want you to have a job and to know if you can afford to pay rent now. If you don't have a job yet in the new town, do you at least have $$ saved up so your can pay for several months rent in advance?... more
Greensboro is my favorite place to live. I have traveled all over the world, but there is no place quite like home. I can be in Wrightsville Beach sipping a mojito in less than 3 hours, I can ski in the mountains in around 2 hours, we have amazing food...and we are becoming one of the best named cities for local breweries. Our Greenway is expanding, and so is the health of our city. As a cancer survivor, we have some of the BEST hospitals and cancer centers (and Duke and Chapel Hill are an hour drive). There has been a big shift to fresh and local, and as both my husband and I both own local businesses, I feel like this environment truly nourishes the small business person. We have 5 colleges and Universities packed into one city, and our rent rates are better than ever. Our real estate never took the gigantic crash that many cities had, and many of our zip codes are appreciating in value. Our property tax is reasonable, our city services are pretty stellar, and our magnet school system is top notch. My eight year old step son is fluent in Spanish! So for me, I vote for Greensboro! I hope that helped.
I have lived here in 1997 and I absolutely LOVE it.
You can check on www.indeed.com to see what jobs are available that you might be interested in. Like many areas, depending on what type of work you are looking for, the number of available positions will vary.
Well Welcome to the Triad Ebony! Greensboro is a great place to live. I moved here for college and never left. We are a few hours from the beach and the mountains, so you can enjoy either with less than a tank of gas!
We have the largest water park in NC and several parks with walking and biking trails. There are several colleges/universities right in town, so that is also great.
I would love to talk to you, please give me a call/text/email
