Finding available home to rent in Fort Morgan is very difficult! We have clients staying in Motels or RV Parks waiting for a home to come available. The crunch is caused by the large number of construction jobs and gas & oil exploration in the area. I don't see this home shortage getting better in the near future.
I would suggest asking friends or coworkers if they know of anybody moving out of a rental property, then contact the landlord. Suggest to the landlord that you would be willing to move in the same day as the other tenant moves out. This will keep his rent continuous and save him the down time to clean the unit up and the time to get it rented. You may have some clean-up to do... but you will have a jump on the rest of the market!... more
Get per-approved by the loan officer, I would try local banks first and shop around to see what rates each one of them offer. After that contact a local real estate broker and go to see the property, and maybe few similar properties to get a feel for the market. if you liked it put an offer and then your broker will assist you with the rest of the process. If you have any more questions let me know.... more
