I have found 2 other similar scams on Trulia. They are priced well below the market and have only a name and no phone number. In both cases, when I used the contact section of the listing to reach what I thought was the owner, I was instructed to wire payment and they would mail keys. These two actions are contained in many of the warnings about phony listings on the Internet.
This listing seems to be the same type of setup. Of course I never followed up on either of the other two listings.
However, I am curious as to why Trulia allows a listing without a valid phone number for the contact. Any legitimate agent will post their phone number and e mail (always on a legitimate MLS listing). Any legitimate FSBO will also post either a number or e mail for contact information.
