As realtors we are not allowed to omment on the safety of any areas. The best advice I can give you is to google the location and see what others have to say on the area as well as call the local police department of the area. They usually keep crime statistics for each area. Also, you can check here on Trulia and Zillow for input on that area from other users and information gathered from third parties. Hope this helps out.... more
This property is 3.4 miles from Berklee College of Music. Depending on the time of day and traffic, you should expect to get there from the house in about 20 minutes.

To start find comparable recent sales, with similar room counts, living area, in similar complexes etc.. Look for recent sales in the building, then the street, then with a 1/2 mile.
Keep in mind inventory is extremely low, things are moving fast, and in that area selling at or above asking price.
I would suggest using a buyers agent who will help with an offer strategy.

Depends on what you mean by ok. It is on Jones Hill which is a desirable area due to its close proximity to the Redline and Savin Hill. Dewolf St is a majority of rental properties and abuts a larger apartment complex on Hancock St and so it lacks some of the architectural and landscape detail that the homes on Sawyer and Cushing have. Your best bet is to visit the street at various times during the day to get a feel for the area.... more
