I didn't see your post here. I've been involved with a few land use appeals etc both here and the Lehigh Valley. If you haven't gotten info yet, you can find the AG-1 info in the Buckingham Zoning Ordinance Book (available for review at the township). (Or you can purchase one which is what I do in certain townships).
I have an older Buckingham Ordinance / Zoning book and i'd be glad to fax you some info on AG-1 if you still need it.
AG-1 is intended to promote / preserve agriculture. It does however allow, General Farming, Nursery, Kennel, Riding Stable, Vet office etc, some subdivision etc. (Many other uses).
In addition, other permitted uses are Detached Dwelling, class 1-3 home office, garage sales, golf course, municipal building, place of worship, day care, B&B etc.
I'd be glad to fax / email you the full description if you need it. (keep in mind it's older and there may be revisions).

Peggy, Are you thinking of buying new construction from a builder? They will already have some information about how it is assessed . If you are thinking of buying land and building on it, you you should contact the tax assessor's office. You have received good information from Frank. I would like to add that you should remember the builder's agent represents the builder and if you would like to work with a buyer's agent you should go with your agent to the model homes.
