Of course, the question not being asked is why you wish to terminate your buyers' agent agreement. If your agent is not doing the job for which you'd hired him/her ... that would be grounds for termination. A fairly clean way to terminate your buyer's agent is to clearly document your dissatisfaction and reason for termination, as well as terminating in writing.
I'm not saying that this is required. I'm not a lawyer, nor judge, nor member of the Real Estate Board, however, I *am* just suggesting that it would be cleaner and more fair. You may find the dissatisfaction to be mutual.... more
Toni Im not sure what is taking so long. Either you or the Seller should be able to do this rather quickly. 3 months means someone is getting it done or there is a problem with the system. Call the Board of Health and see if there have been any filings lately... more
An agent maybe able to contact the auction co. and get the lock box to give you access. Some auction companies set up House Sitters. These are agents that open the house for specific housrs prior to auction to allow access. The agent does not giv information on the property.
