Yes, by looking at the information on this particular property, it does appear to have been on the market "forever". It is indeed a "short sale", nothing short about it though. It does show that it is currently under contract, and most likely going through the approval process with the bank. A short sale is a two step process, first the seller agrees to price/terms/conditions of the contract, then the second half is the bank, or banks, (depending on how many loans may be involved), will need to approve and possibly adjust price/terms as well.
