Jafna, to answer your reply, the other schools listed may be "out of area" even though they are closer to the property. Public schools are usually assigned by districts which are mapped out, so you may not have a choice unless you go private or you move into the district you want....best way to confirm something like this is to call the school district directly and ask by giving them an address or ask for their district map. Mike, who is local is saying that Owen is the correct school even though they list 4 others as closer. There is no reason to believe he is wrong, but make the call to be certain. Also, read the ratings/reviews carefully because they involve opinions and what may be better for one, may not be for another. Visiting the schools and talking to the administrators may also be helpful if it is important to you. Good Luck!... more
This is a wonderful area for families and commuting parents. It is close to the expressway and has many opportunities for shopping. We live in a home built in 2006 that is about 2600 sq. ft. and will be putting it on the market soon. It is 4 bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths. Please let me if you are interested. I live in Aurora 60504 for 8 years now and I can say it a good place to live in most especially if you have children. My area is part of School District 204 and the area is very convenient and close to hospitals, schools, library, park district, church and strip mall and shopping malls.
Transportation wise like Metra is few minutes drive and the area is close to Highway I-88.... more
