Hamilton Street is in the so-called "Student rental area" of the city, close to the downtown UAlbany campus and St. Rose. It would be hard to say how many homes are rented to students. If you are looking in that area, or elsewhere, I can help if you need an agent. Call me at 522-2349.... more
I can certainly help you find a suitable condo or townhouse. Do you have some idea of what you would like? How many bedrooms, baths etc? Do you need a garage? Do you want to be in town in perhaps a renovated Brownstone or in a newer development? What price range are you looking for and have you been pre-qualified? What is your time frame for moving? Once I have some of the basic information I can set up a search for you that will show you what is available and then send new listings to you as they come on the market. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 518-596-2273.... more

If you want assistance, contact a local Realtor. If not, contact the listing agent directly with your offer. Just remember, they work for the Seller - not you!

What home are you referencing? It could just be a status change with the property and alerting you to this. Let me know what property you have an interest in and I will provide you with additional information.

There are plenty of Realtors who specialize in those deals. But if you're offering 7 day inspection and 14 day close, then you're not going to be competitive on any good deals with all the professional rehabbers.... more
Did this transaction not involve a title company that held the funds in earnest? If so, you should speak directly to the escrow officer at the title company. Do you not have a Realtor that represented you in the intended purchase? His/her job is to advise you in this matter. The invaluable services provided by a Realtor to a buyer in a purchase transaction extend far beyond the home selection process.
What is a reasonable time frame for the refund all depends on the parties involved in the transaction. Make your demands in writing, record all responses, provide a deadline, and consider getting your own attorney if your demands are not responded to in a satisfactory manner.... more
I looked on the MLS and there are no listings on the property. Henry J. Murphy is the owner of this property. The phone number on record for him is: (518) 465-8540 You can call him and ask him or I could call him for you if you'd like. My number is 518-466-7127. Barbara Wagner... more
Maribeth, you should really shop around for the best mortgage rates, but sometimes a mortgage broker will be able to get the best rates. Many of my clients have used Doug Seder at Homestead Funding. Here is Doug's information. http://www.homesteadfunding.com/agents/dseder

Probably, most people who live there will be optimistic; for obvious reasons:
But if want an answer; look around.
Is the unemployment going up or down?
the new jobs, are they minimum wage jobs?
are companies moving IN or OUT of the area?
do you see a lot of new construction?
are outsiders investing in Albany?
are there new housing developments?
what would attract new residents?
is there a major university?
is there a government facility; like an airfield or training base?
is the local government well run?
You don't need some ecconomist answering these and other questions for you.... more
If you are referring to my personal website you cannot post it yourself. We would need to sign a rental listing agreement that allows me to post it on the MLS and market the property for you. Then I can post the property on my website. As far as other websites, like Trulia, the property will be automatically posted to Trulia once it is on the MLS.
If you would like me to list your rental property for you I would be happy to meet with you to discuss a marketing plan. You can contact me at 518-596-2273 or at email@example.com.
Thank you for your question.
Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately this was taken off the market over a year ago. This is a common problem with Trulia and Zillow. But you can use the search tools on my website to get the most up-to-date listings. My website pulls directly from the Capital Region Multiple Listing Service, so it will be as current and accurate as the MLS. Unfortunately, Trulia and Zillow do not always have the most current listings.

The best way to understand your home's value in this market is to ask a Realtor to run a market analysis on your house. Many agents will perform this service before listing your home for sale on the market. Contact a local Realtor that you trust and inquire about their procedures.
If you are in the Voorheesville locale, which is where this question is posted, I would be happy to perform a market analysis for you at no cost. If you're in PA, contact someone locally. If you need a recommendation, I could help refer you to someone there.

Hi, I think you are referring to Robert Marini Builders. If it is a new construction home, most builders do not negotiate on their prices. They may offer incentives in terms of upgrades, but the base price is the base price. Sometimes you can negotiate a bit on an existing home that was either a model or a spec house. Feel free to contact us directly if you have any more questions! 518-321-8355... more
