You can check out many sights that have different info Here is one http://www.epa.gov/radtown/power-lines.html
"In 1998, an expert working group, organized by the National Institute of Health’s National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), assessed the health effects of exposure to extremely low frequency EMF, the type found in homes near power lines. Based on studies about the incidence of childhood leukemia involving a large number of households, NIEHS found that power line magnetic fields are a possible cause of cancer. The working group also concluded that the results of EMF animal, cellular, and mechanistic (process) studies do not confirm or refute the finding of the human studies. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (WHO) reached a similar conclusion."... more
I think there are crazy people anywhere you go. Apparently you encountered one at Chilis. She is NOT representative of the general public here in Oro Valley, by any stretch of the imagination. Check out the article Tucson Dawn posted for you... and the Oro Valley Wiki (below). The OV really is a super place. I answered your other post on here as well... I am sorry you are having such a terrible week! Keep your chin up- sometimes crummy things just all happen at once. :-0... more
I would call the police first, then the homeowner, and next my insurance company.

Sahuarita and Vail are popular up and coming areas. Vail has the best rated large school district in Arizona, and also easy access to I-10, the Air Force base, and Raytheon/IBM.
If your business involves commuting to Phoenix, Marana may be a good choice.
Depending on specific interests and needs, there are multiple choices, great prices, and low interest rates.
Call, I can help!

Opinions of course vary, but we drink straight from the tap here in Tucson. I was raised on a farm, and the city water tastes better than the well water I grew up on.
Like anything else, if the water is of a concern to a buyer, it can be inspected during the buyer's inspection report once an offer has been accepted.

The one thing that I felt set trulia apart from zillow was how easy it was to see the price reduced date. I like to check zillow for new listings, then check trulia for houses that dropped their prices. Now it no longer displays the price drop next to the address which was easily accessible on one page where you can easily scroll down and see the drop and date together. Very disappointing.... more
The most commonly seen acceptance time in Tucson is 24 hours. If it is a really exceptional, new on market listing with lots of activity, I would suggest less time if the buyer is available for a faster response. If either the buyer or seller is out of town, more time may be required. Whatever is workable for both parties is always the best route to acceptance!

That is a broad question, since no 2 homes are alike. What is valuable to you, or what is valuable regarding appraised value, or...
I can help more by talking with you about the specifics. Would you like to call or email directly?

You will help yourself and your buyers by vacating for each and every showing. Buyers can't freely discuss your home with you in it...even if you are out of earshot, they will not be comfortable. Buying decisions involve looking into closets, etc, that most people are very hesitant to do while you are there.... more
The leasing agents/property managers usually require a deposit and you to complete an application which they check-out. There are several condo/apt rentals in the area. One good management company I recommend is MEB, and they have a few locations nearby. Good question & I wish you the best at your new job!
Peace & Blessings to you!

Your best bet on an apartment is to go to apartmentlocator.com or look up Tucson Apartments in Central Tucson. www.apartmentlocatorsaz.com OR www.apartmentfinder.com/Arizona/Tucson . i would also suggest you look at renting a home as they can be less money than an apartment. Good Luck... more
It all depends on the home, price and the location. There are sales that are on the market for less than a week and some that last a year. That area is very diverse and to do jsut an averge doesn't really tell you the number you are looking for. To narrow it down, you need to look at size, area, condition, and location. Let me know and I will do that for you.

If you went through a title company, I suggest you contact the escrow officer to see what was canceled and who authorized the return of the deposit without your consent.
The earnest money will most likely be returned to the buyer, if they cancelled during their inspection period. The Title Company where it should have been deposited functions as the neutral party, and determines the disposition of earnest money according to the contract terms.

As Spirit noted, this is not something we are allowed to discuss. It can be pulled from the Pima County Sheriffs web site and several others. It is also a web site that you are given with the Buyer Advisory that is provided to my clients, also. Let me know if we can help you further.... more
Contrary to many answers you may have been receiving from my peers, you may want to look at http://www.pimasheriff.org/prevention/crime-statistics/
The 85743 zip code is mostly Pima County Unincorporated, not Marana (just Northern tip), not City of Tucson.
