Title Fees are run about 1% of the sales price for the property being insured, as a general reference. The title policy fee is regulated by The Texas Department of Insurance, and is a set percentage. The closing fee varies from company to company, but runs generally around the 200.00 mark. All of these fees are negotiable between the buyer s and sellers, but in my experience, the seller almost always pays and chooses the company.
