Hello, the purpose of a pre qualification letter serves as a double benefit. It says to a seller that you are a ready, willing and able buyer. It also determines for you how much house you can shop for.
In your particular case having the funding all you need to submit with an offer is a proof of funds letter.
As an answerer to your question, you do not need a pre-qualification letter.
Thanks Tina for your response. I guess the confusing part is there were five offers and all were rejected. Our realtor asked why and they said we did not offer enough. So why list it at a certain price if they are not going to accept offers over that amout. It just makes no sense what so ever. I just dont understand how they can operate this way. Why not list it for a price they are willing to accept. Just extremely frustrated cause I really wanted this property.... more
