Are you looking at elementary or high schools? There are multiple elementary s that feed only three public high schools There are a few excellent private schools also.
We have two hospital systems that are both less than 15 minutes away from the farthest west side of town.I'd ask yourself do you want a subdivision or in town experience? There are many good options for great neighborhoods. Also several new housing developments are available for those that want a new home. It would be beneficial to work with a Realtor who enjoys giving you a tour of our city to get you familiar with the neighborhoods that fit your lifestyle. I suggest to go to the schools and get a feel with your children -then choose what area suits your needs best.
You need a Realtor who is open and honest, one who is know the area and the resources that are available that fit you and your families needs. If you have any other questions please feel free to call me or send me a email. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Good luck with sake of your property.

Before making a major move like purchasing a home in an unfamiliar area, it might not be a bad idea to rent in the short term. Eventually, however, the real estate market will come back. Good luck.... more
