The best thing to do is connect with one agent you trust and they will come on line with what your needs are and they should be able to advise you on what path to take. Agent that deal with military always run into a time line that is tight, but good agents can "Make it Happen".
The good news is your looking in a great part of Virginia Beach and you will have some great choices. Along with picking a good agent, I recommend you get pre-approved with a loan officer, so the process will move faster, once you deside on a home. It can move quickly!!! Thanks for the question.

The management firm will require paycheck stubs showing proof of your income, a copy of your driver's license or photo identification, social security number, rental references from your current and possibly former landlord, if you're military, they'll want a copy of your most recent LES.
There's usually an application fee as well. Mose are $50 or less.
