Yes, there are Top rated schools outside of Weston. Outside of Public schools there are Charter schools, religious schools and private academies, that are Top Rated schools. It's great because in and around Weston, we offer choices. You will agree, it depends on what type of home in what type of environment and what your prioroties are that you have selected that will determine what schools your kids will attend. For example, we have some communities that are consider Horse Ranch type communities. Where you do not live in a development closed gated community. Yet, still close to all the family type amenties and great schools. Give us a call, we would like to become your Realtor, Norma and Rennie.... more
It really all depends on which part of West Blvd. I love the end in Cleveland/ Lakewood border. The houses are huge with giant yards. But, it is a main road with lots of heavy traffic. I would live on most of West Blvd but I like a crowded louder neighborhood.... more
Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD schools are out as of Thursday afternoon, May 31, 2012. I believe the last day is a half day for everyone; it is for the high schools.
The North Central area contains quite a few schools... Do you have an address or particular subdivision you can throw into the question so I can get you a solid answer?
I see your question has so far been answered by real estate agents, which too often is conflicted at best.
As an active PTA legislative chair, I go up to Sacramento as well as attend local conferences.
LAUSD, though it has some good pocket schools, overall is a nightmare...and getting worse, with no end in sight. Even if you get into a great elementary school, you will need to transfer...then what?
One needs to look at communities who are there own municipalities, with there own police, fire & schools...utilities are a good idea as well.
Some of the best elementary schools are in Burbank, Glendale & South Pasadena. Glendale is the only community who hedged against the times b putting prop S through for school infrastructure and has raised $250,000,000. Glendale also has multiple language immersion programs including, Japanese, Korean, French, and much more.
I live in the Royal Canyon neighborhood of Glendale and we have some serious homes here, and the entertainment crowd that truly does want to stay below the radar. Our elementary school is Verdugo Woodlands, and it has posted serious state scores (900+).
There is a term called the 900 Club...that's what you want when you're looking at elementary schools.
Hopefully we see a turnaround in LAUSD, but it won't be for at least a decade.... more
I moved to Laveen from Omaha Nebraska about three years ago. I believe, like everywhere else you have your good parts and bad parts. The school system has some catching up to to compaired to Mid-west standards. If your a parent thats envolved in you kids education, they will be fine.
If you move to Laveen, (my opinion) the further west you go the better. If you can get SOUTH of Basline you get better views of the mountains. I bought my home two blocks north of baseline off 75th Ave. I havent had any problems at all!! No views, but a beautiful home with ALL the up grades at a GREAT price. Good luck!

This was posted a while back, sorry you hadn't gotten a response, but from what I hear, between those two, you may want to go with Forest Hill. My son is a ways off from high school, so we aren't too worried about that at this time.... more
You can go to the Sarasota County Schools web site and type in the address under bus routes, transportation, search by address and it will tell you the elementary school for that address. http://www.sarasotacountyschools.net/

Hello WWWD,
Try this link to learn more about the school system: http://www.lee.k12.nc.us - in Lee County Public School District, the district is divided into three zones and sub-zones. You have the option to choose from a number of schools in your attendance zone and sub-zone, as well as magnet, charter, International Baccalaureate (IB) and arts schools which may be outside your attendance zone. I hope this information is helpful.
