About Me
Having spent years traveling and equally as many in the travel industry, my management and supervisory skills led me to develop a special ability to listen closely to clients. I transferred those skills to real estate, and am grateful to be able to assist those who view buying or selling a home as a major event, not as just a business transaction.

I have a BA in French, lived in Texas, Alaska, Washington DC, northern Virginia, France and England, instructed at Northern Virginia Community College. However, education doesn't stop there. I pride myself in staying after what's new, what's changing, what's about to change.

Living and working in Solano County by choice .. what a great place. People make it that way.

As a Realtor who lives in Vallejo, I also am concerned about all the current issues. That being said, I am more concerned about the world economy ( having been abused by our national greedy-types).

I believe the lovely area of Hiddenbrooke continues to attract golfers and folks who prefer a tightly-run community, (in the sense of stringent rules for homeowners). It is indeed a beautiful setting and with the foreclosures in the area, there is no doubt good "deals" are to be had.

Back to your orginal question......... Bankruptcy and Vallejo. My belief is that we will eventually pull out and become much stronger than before. Touro University is going strong and seriously planning growth. With little tax base in our town, the hope is that residents will see the need for attracting businesses to make financial stability a necessity.

Not knowing what you are looking for, it would be unfair of me to talk about the convenience of the location. Are you planning to work in San Francisco? There is a ferry which operates daily and takes an hour each direction. The highways are full as they are in every metropolitan area. The closest subway (BART) is the next county over which requires crossing a bridge and paying a toll.

I'm not shy about sharing my knowledge nor my feelings about this area; there are some wonderful people here who feel as I do.

Please email me if you like.

If you cannot obtain your money through normal channels: discussing with the brokers of the companies in question, then you might write a letter of intent, (to procede in small claims court.) - Thu Sep 25 2008, 12:35

Having faith in a Realtor who is commited to working for you is an important step. Solano county is certainly a lot more affordable now than it was even a year ago. Vacaville is a nice town, but it has been effected by the upheaval in the housing market as have many other areas in the US. I believe it's do-able for you especially because of the housing issues. A great time to buy.. - Fri Jul 18 2008, 12:47

I'm guessing you are referring to the option concerned with taking title a particular way. FHA does do that type of loan.... I know a local lender... Consumer's Choice Mortgage who is familiar with all the aspects.
Great! Welcome to Vallejo!!!! - Fri Jul 18 2008, 12:39
