Hi Deb,
Specifically in Palm Harbor, off of US 19, Highland Lakes is a wonderful 55+ community with many amenities & reasonable prices. Off of East Lake Rd (611)I have a 1/1 perfect for your mom, though not a 55+ community is a mixed age. All amenities, ground floor, close to all & maybe better to rent now until the adjustment period is over. Then she could buy the unit or buy wherever she makes new friends. I will be happy to work with her &/or you. The apartment is on my website below. Don't hesitate to call with any questions 727-479-4355 or email me @ helene4pbr@yahoo.com - Wed Aug 6 2008, 13:50
Certainly no problem with renting. Along the East Lake Corridor (the northern portion of 611 in Pinellas) there are some very nice developments that have homes large enough for your family of 6. Aside from Cypress Woods, there is also Brooker Creek, also an A school, but this far north will put you at Tarpon Middle, not Carwise. If you like, I can check on the availabilty at the schools you've mentioned. School starts on 8/19. You can check my website below for all school info.
I will be happy to help you find a rental or lease/option. . Please note that Florida does have cetain fees if you rent for less than 6 months. Most likely, with your children in school, you would probably want a 7-12mo lease which will not be difficult in this market & give you the time toconsider exactly where you want to live before making your final decision. Good luck & I hope the info on my website will help you with some issues you might be facing. Please contact me at helene4pbr@yahoo.com or feel free to call me @ 727.479.4355 with any questions or concerns. - Tue Jul 22 2008, 18:40
