Stampinlau,
I am not sure of your question. Do you have a buyer who wants to buy your house and the mineral rights or just buy the mineral rights? If its the later, I would recommend that you not separate the mineral rights from the surface rights as that may cause you to lose buyers for your house. However, if it is a great deal of money (which I doubt), it might be a reasonable trade-off. - Wed Jul 23 2008, 14:35
Crystal,
Be careful in doing a quit claim deed without legal advice. You may end up with a bigger problem than the one you think you are solving. - Wed Jul 16 2008, 11:10
Sharon,
Good news!! I think we would all agree that you still should talk to your agent's managing broker. You should have had better representation than what you received. - Tue Jul 15 2008, 12:08
Sharon,
Call the RE/MAX managing broker as soon as possible. S/he will need some time to get things moving for you. - Tue Jul 15 2008, 11:00
Julie,
I suspect that you will have several/many Realtors come by. That's how we keep up with the market, by looking at houses that are for sale and then tracking what the sell for. If you have email addresses of local Realtors, send them invitations. - Thu Jul 3 2008, 13:45
E. Hong,
It depends on the context in which the terms are used. Generally, a seller's agent is the listing agent and represents the seller. A "buyer/seller agent" probably means that person will work for you as a listing agent or as a buyer's agent, depending on your needs. Most broker fall into that category although, more and more, there are agents that will only work for a buyer. - Thu Jul 3 2008, 13:40
