"Buying a house is a huge investment. Stacey understood how I felt and took her time with me even though I must of looked at 20 houses. She helped me with everything from where to look to how to get the mortgage. Stacey made buying a house a pleasure instead of a anxiety-ridden chore. I'm a single mom. I don't need anymore chores."

If your agent gave you those comps, it should be very easy for him/her to justify your offer. Multifamily properties are investments, so you really need to work the numbers. It's all about what makes financial sense. - Fri Oct 24 2008, 09:00

Hi Andrea, Are you working with a buyer's agent? A good buyer's agent can give you the skinny on how much the other condos have sold for and if you are paying too much, or if it is comparable to the other units that have sold. You don't have to rely on the seller agent's info. If you have a Realtor looking out for your best interests, then you can feel confident in your purchase. - Sat Aug 30 2008, 18:14

There's really no "place" in particular that can find you a rent-to-own situation. Just talk to a good Realtor that can help you create a rent-to-own with a house that has been on the market awhile. Your areas are pretty far apart though. If you narrow it down, it might be easier. - Wed Aug 13 2008, 22:37

Congratulations Ronnie! I would call a mortgage broker since they can shop your loan around to several different banks and get you the best rate. - Mon Aug 11 2008, 11:06
