I am married with two children. My son is in elementary school and my daughter is a freshman in high school. My son enjoys helping me with open houses. I call him my little "apprentice". He can show an entire house just like myself. My wife and I own a popular business in Paducah. Like most business people we are constantly learning and enjoy doing so.
Real estate is a good business to be in. It's quite expensive but very rewarding if you've got the motiviation.
Of particular interest to me is meeting people. At any time I can have clients from many different walks of life. I enjoy talking with them and hearing their stories. My son gets agrivated with me when I spend an hour talking with someone and he's waiting the whole time.
I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in business adminstration. Education is very important. I encourage everyone to continue their education, either in classroom or online. Everyone should apply for financial aid and scholarships. You'd be surprised how much is available. One of my instructors recently asked a question about the economy. He asked what we could do about the subject of his question. My only response was "vote". Remarkably, he said "Yup, that's all we can do and it's my job to provide the education to ensure you make good decisions."

Personally, if I got 5 homes for free and they were in good condition, I'd consider renting them out at least until the market improves. With the market being the way it is there are tons of people looking for rental homes. - Thu Oct 2 2008, 11:10
How do you know this is going on? I don't know that it's illiegal but it wouldn't be ethical. - Tue Sep 16 2008, 04:49
You can make an offer on a home at any time. If you are worried about having two mortgage payments you can put a clause in your contract that specifies you must sell your current home first. This sort of locks in a contract for that home. The bank may not accept that offer though. Some realtors will include a first riight of refusal but again, this may not work with a foreclosure since the bank wants to get rid of the home quickly. - Tue Aug 26 2008, 04:59

Residential or commercial property in the Paducah/McCracken county area.
Like most guys I enjoy hands on. In my case I enjoy web programming. I'm always adding more features to my business web sites.
I also enjoy talking with my clients. Talking lets you get to know people's backgrounds. Doing so broadens your own horizons. Communication is very important.
