About Me
I am from N.J. and have been living in Central Florida for 10 years with my partner Jeff of 17 years. He works at Disney and is very involved with http://www.disney.com.

Besides working with buyers and sellers in the area I am an expert in purchasing homes in Italy and France. I became an expert because I plan to retire there and have purchased 2 homes. One in Umbria in Italy and one in the Loire valley in France. I plan on keeping only one. I am leaning toward The Italian one, only because it is so close to my favorite city in the world; Florence.
I am a Sales Executive with Stirling Sothebys' I'ntl Realty, an agency with a truly Global reach.

I read at leat 2 books a week, sometimes 3 if I have an audio book. I would call it an addiction.
Testimonials

Hi M. The public schools in FL are the worst. I do not care if they are an a, or an f rated school. You need to go private. I would never enroll a child in a FL public school, especially coming from CT, or N.Y. - Fri May 16 2008, 14:02
Seminole County has the best school system in the Orlando area. If you are looking for a very nice area try the Bella Foresta, or Heathrow area. - Sat May 10 2008, 10:23

I have been in the Orlando area for 10 years originally from N.J.. This will be a big adjustment for you. It took 10 years to find an area that I was happy with. I did the Clermont thing and the Williamsburg area, but I was never truly happy with my home until I moved to Mount Dora last year. Look it up. It has a lot to offer. Mostly it reminds me of the North, and is a very eclectic town to live in. A true community, not a spreadout flat suburb that you don't even know your neighbors. check it out. It is 30 minutes to downtown and the attractions and 40 minutes to the Orlando I'ntl Airport. Kings ridge is full of old fogies and Summit Greens is a cookie cutter golf community, but nice if you like that. The town must have a heart and they are few and far between. Google Mt. Dora and see. best of luck to you Jo Ann. - Fri May 16 2008, 13:55

Good going Kathy. An agent who is primarily a lister or seller is the one you want to pick for your needs. Most importantly ifd you know the area you are looking in, find an agent who preferably lives in the neighborhood, ther is always someone to help you, as there are many Realtors out there. also choose one that does Realty Full-time, not a part -timer. Part time Realtors really make a mess of things, often, of course ther are exceptions, but not many. Good hunting Kathy!! - Fri May 16 2008, 13:45
Hi Kathy,
You want to hire an agent who knows the area well and works for a company with a truly global reach. You need all the help you can get. If you tell me where you are looking then I would be happy to recommend someone should I know the area. - Wed May 14 2008, 11:24

I have a buyer for your home Dan, but the only addendum is that you come with it. ') - Fri May 16 2008, 13:12
I would not sell it yet and go with the lease/purchase but only for a year. - Wed May 14 2008, 11:52

Agents that offer rebates show you homes where there is the greatest amount of commision or bonuses available to them. You should work with an agent who has your best interests at heart, not ones who go after the money. I think that I speak for the most reputable agents out there. Discount brokers are just that, and you do get what you pay for, not that you need pay an agent anything, the seller does that. Thanks Tara. - Fri May 16 2008, 12:56
I have the perfect home for you. It is 8 miles from Disney. It is a 4/2 and has a covered lanai and a heated pool/spa. The neighborhood is residential 99.9%, however it does alow short term rental. The pool faces west and is 1850 sq/ft, and has great neighbors. It is in Lake County, which is much better than Polk County, do your research. Please feel free to contact me at anytime. Good hunting! Oh! 254K asking price. - Sat May 3 2008, 12:55
