The links to all of the town' s websites can be found on the town pages on my website. You should be able to start there and make inquiries about employment. In the meantime, sign up for automatic email updates and you will get all the new listings sent to you. If you are coming down to look around I can get you a list of properties for sale with the address, price, etc and you can drive around and see if your price range will satisfy your needs. Let me know if you need a street map. - Mon Jun 30 2008, 10:44

The other agent was the one who claimed your listing. Don't let them fool you into thinking it was an innocent mistake. - Sun Jun 22 2008, 11:14

If this is your time to purchase your lifetime dream home at the beach then go ahead and make your move.
The market will eventually turn around and you will come out ahead if you hold onto it long enough.

If you want to make the best investment purchase possible then wait.

I have an investor with a million dollars burning a hole in his pocket and my advice to him is wait. He already has his vacation home in Corolla and is looking for a good investment. This is the year the 2005 ARMs are coming due and until they all refinance or walk away the market will not stabilize.

Until the sellers and their agents wise up and price their properties accordingly the market will continue to stagnate. Have an agent (me?) set you up with automatic updates and you will be able to monitor the market and make your move when the time is right. - Wed Jun 18 2008, 18:25

We follow the same FEMA rules on the Outer Banks. If the downstairs was enclosed without permits and is below the flood elevation then then flood insurance policy for the entire property, including the upstairs, may have been voided.

A new owner will have to remedy the situation by either fixing the downstairs or paying an outrageous amount for flood insurance, if they can get it. It is possible that the enclosed downstairs is actually a liability. - Fri May 16 2008, 05:59

What you are discovering is that you can not buy real estate online. Regardless of how many pictures, virtual tours or floor plans you see online, there is nothing that will ever take the place of walking through a house to find out if it is the right one for you.

Be careful, you may have already eliminated the perfect house because the agent took bad pictures of it. Get out and look. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 05:05
