I have been in Real Estate since 1991....I started my career in Atlanta, GA. We moved to metro Charleston in 1996 and haven't looked back once. Living 10 minutes from the ocean and sharing my knowledge of the Lowcountry is fun and rewarding. My experience includes selling lots and new construction and working with relocating families. I am involved in the Charleton Trident Board of Realtors and serve on the Agent Leadership Council of my Keller Williams Realty office. I have a Brokers license in South and North Carolina. My family includes 3 grown children, a wonderful grand daughter and my husband of 36 years, Mark. Oh....and our cat Lucy. I am a full time Realtor!
"We were extremely pleased with the manner in which our home was sold. Charleston Fine Homes was always a professional team that we knew we could count on to provide honest and reliable information to us in a timely manner. We would never think of having any other real estate team handle our busines."

As you may know commission rates are not "fixed" by law. There are no and low service companies that charge less and many agents will negotiate their commission if you are purchasing a new home or if they limit their advertising and services. You may not make more money by using a Realtor but the pitfalls of selling on your own can make the experience miserable. One small tip, there are free places to post your listing. Craigs List, eBay and Zillow.com to name a few. Good luck! - Mon Aug 4 2008, 05:19
Checking prices by zip code may not meet give you the information you are looking for. Sometimes checking by neighborhood yields more data. Home prices vary by square footage, bedrooms, updating done and even one street over may make the numbers change. Find a Realtor you can trust and enjoy working with and ask them to help you zero in. Good luck! - Tue Jul 8 2008, 06:43
I think you have all the stats you need but that being said homes are selling. I just had one go under contract in Whispering Marsh in Dunes West that I listed May 22nd. There is a lot on the market but if your home shows well and is well priced you have a chance. Interest rates are at a historical low. As they go up more buyers will decide to buy. - Thu Jun 12 2008, 05:55
I agree with CSS. The only down side that I have found is that once a listing leaves there you have no record. If there is a way to retrieve them I would love to know. - Mon Mar 31 2008, 09:02
They may be that cheap but you have to look at all debt outstanding not just morgage. For example if the neighborhood has homeowners dues there may be back payments that have to be paid, there may be back taxes. Hire a professional familiar with the process. Good luck! - Fri Mar 7 2008, 08:23
